Multiple listing service (MLS)

A Multiple Listing Service (MLS) is a database established by cooperating real estate brokers to facilitate the sharing of property listings. It is not a singular organization or software, but rather a term used to refer to real estate brokers who network together in local areas. MLSs are utilized by buyers and sellers to view all homes currently for sale by brokers. The system allows brokers to see one another’s listings of properties for sale, fostering better cooperation among real estate professionals. It provides benefits for brokers and their clients, including access to a wealth of information on property details, square footage, features, and photos of each property.
