Blue Mountain Village
The gorgeous Blue Mountain Village is Southern Ontario’s greatest four-season destination, nestled between the majestic Blue Mountains of the Niagara Escarpment and the rocky beaches and crystal clear waters of Georgian Bay. The Village, a cobblestoned pedestrian village framed by turn-of-the-century Ontario architecture, offers a diverse range of family accommodations, activities, events, and attractions, including over 40 distinct shops and restaurants, zip lines, ropes courses, hiking, bicycling, Segway tours, and more. The Village, an exquisite natural hideaway, offers as much – or as little – as you choose to do.

Blue Mountain Village Reviews
Everything opened at 11:00 a.m. when we came on a Thursday. There is no entrance price and there is no parking fee. Because of the mountains, the temperature is substantially lower. Because I forgot to pack a jacket, I purchased one from a store. There are numerous restaurants, shops, and boutiques to choose from. We purchased an explore all day admission for $35 plus tax, which only covers the gondola and paths to the top of the mountain. We wanted the $79 plus tax play all day pass, which includes mini golf, aquatic, pedal boats, gondola, and trails, however you had to purchase online 5 days or more in advance. The money was well spent. This is a dog-friendly park, and many people bring their pets here. We were there for four hours, including the trails. We didn’t get the play all day pass, but we would have remained longer if we had. I want to do everything I missed the next time I come back. It’s a great area for families to visit.
My partner and I took a Segway tour, and our guide, Terry, was fantastic. He gave us a fantastic tour and even took pictures for us. He was extremely polite and willing to assist us with anything we required. This is an activity that I would strongly recommend! It was my first time there. It’s a great destination to spend your vacations and have more experience… It comes highly recommended… It’s a great spot to go if you want to view more interesting things. It was a great time with friends…. One of the top places to visit in Ontario for a good time. Excellent experience in a fantastic setting. Blue Mountain’s village is a fantastic location!
Despite their tiny size, they were successful in supporting a variety of enterprises and eateries.
When we visit Blue Mountain, I always recommend taking a stroll through the Town because you never know what you’ll find – they usually have entertainment in the village plaza or are presenting an event.
COVID performed an excellent job of managing traffic by segregating and clearly marking the walkway.
The size of the picnic table area in the middle of the square is one “annoying” aspect. There appears to be a lot of good area for the tables that are available.
The village is open 24 hours a day, and there is security on the premises most of the time, making you feel comfortable.
There are numerous restaurant and coffee options (I prefer Majesty Espresso Bar over Starbucks), as well as halal cuisine options, such as the Poutine restaurant.
On weekends, expect to see a lot of people, so arrive early if you want to park close by. It is necessary to walk when there is several overflow parking. I was able to find free parking everywhere I went.
