Harbourview Park Trails

This trail connects the Starion to Pine St. through an old rail line and a sidewalk. An nice east-west route to the park, passing past the Arboretum and across the Jack Saunders Bridge to First and Walnut. The Collingwood Trails connect not only the Collingwood community’s different attractions and experiences, such as stores and restaurants, but also the Georgian Trail.
Collingwood, Ontario, is located on the southern shore of Canada’s Southern Georgian Bay, a wide freshwater area famed for its rocky tree-lined coastline, wild winds, and big sky. The land mass features a shelf-like flat stretch of bush and apple orchards that leads to the Niagara Escarpment’s dramatic altitudes. Trail riding, walking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing are popular activities in the area, which provide a variety of natural experiences in a green but decidedly urban setting.
Collingwood has included trail development in its official plan, requiring any future development to connect to the existing trail system. The Town of Collingwood’s website provides this information.
