Rupert’s Landing is a beautifully designed one of the few gated communities in Collingwood. The community is named after Rupert Bronsdon, he built Rupert’s Landing from 1986 to 1989. With a little over 18 acres, the development sits on the waterfront of Georgian Bay. The grounds are well maintained with beautiful gardens and mature trees lining the paths making Rupert’s Landing a highly desirable location.
In total, there are 207 condo units and among them, there are 156 condo-style units in low rise buildings, in addition to the 51 condo units in “Rupert’s main tower”. The condo units are either one level or two level with each of them having a fireplace, laundry room, and decks. On the other hand, Rupert’s tower has 2 to 3 bedroom traditinal condo units. They have underground parking for the tower units.
The lifestyle at Ruperts Landing is very attractive. Why? All residents enjoy a lively recreational and social lifestyle. The 6000 sq. ft. the Recreation center is the main hub for all their leisure activities. Run by their full-time leisure coordinator, the residents enjoy an eventful calendar with events ranging from tennis & pickleball tournaments to community dinners among other activities aimed at giving residents time to socialize.
Some of the things you can find in the recreational center include tennis/pickleball courts, a playground, outdoors, gym, squash court, sauna, indoor pool, fireplace and swimming/beach bay.
Rupert’s Marina is an area that is well sheltered and has a marked channel leading to Georgian Bay. Some of the facilities available there include boards, kayaks, and racks, dry storage, floating docks and boat launch ramp for canoes & SUPs. .
