Northwinds Beach Locations
There are several shaded picnic tables around the park and beach area, as well as a playground and restrooms. There are a number of little coves and separate sandy beaches all close together. This beach does get busy and has paid parking. Check the Ontario Parks website for more information about parking availability.
The Craigleith Heritage Depot Museum and Craigleith Community Centre are both within walking distance of the beach, while Blue Mountain Resort, located off Highway 26, is only a short drive away.
Kayaking, SUP (stand-up paddle boarding), and beach relaxing are also popular activities at this beach.
In this part, the Georgian Trail travels next to Highway 26, making for a lovely cycling ride to the Bay from the surrounding area.
